Cloud or Mac voice

Cloud voices work over the internet. If the cloud service is temporarily unavailable, the app can try the Mac address saved in Settings. Your iPhone or iPad and Mac must be on the same Wi-Fi network, and the StoryLens voice service must remain open on the Mac.

Voice quality

Record 10–20 seconds of speech in a quiet room, and make sure the spoken words match the transcript. Longer stories may need time to buffer before their first playback.

Stories and sync

Stories are stored on the current device by default. Pro users can privately sync stories through their Apple ID. You can also export or restore a backup from Settings.

Delete your data

Use Settings → Privacy & Data in the app to delete your account and associated personal data. Deleting your data does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
